650 EMAILS SENT
420 OPENED
7 CONVERTED

Hi guys, during our email collecting phase we managed to collect 650 emails, feeling ecstatic we thought it was time to launch and so we did, with 420 of the 650 opening our 'we have launched' email. Though it seems as only 7 out of those 420 converted and purchased a subscription. It's only been two days now, but is this something we should worry about? Have any of you been in a similar situation? And once you guys have officially launched, how do you start getting more people joined up?

The high open rate indicates that you do have a quality contact list with interested prospects, so I agree with Nathan, send a follow up email to people who opened the first email, but maybe trying using a different position or color for your 'subscribe' button. It's also worth sending a second email to those who didn't open the first email, but use a different subject line - it's a technique known as remailing.

I had about 100 emails and have gotten 2? subscribers from that list.  Really disappointing if your expecting at 10% conversion rate.

I would also suggest a series of three emails -- First one launch, second email you're running out of time and third one last chance-- I sent mine out over 7 days. I may tighten that up next time. But keep active in email.

I think we had maybe 2 subscribers that first 24 hrs and that was with announcing our service to our 5000 instagram followers.
